I can’t recommend this restaurant high enough. I drank the Platinum Sushi (720 ml) with our friends and it was excellent! I understand they also have a karaoke room at the back and a further separate secluded dining room. We had eaten so much do unfortunately did not save room for desert so can’t comment. Our friends had the fillet mignon and sons extra sushi rolls which looked excellent and they complimented their dishes. We also had vegetable pineapple fried rice (make sure you ask for no chicken if you want it completely vegetarian) and lo mein vegetable noodles. one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever tasted!! For the main course I shared the Chilean Sea Bass with my wife. they have a number of signature sushi rolls and dishes and I highly recommend these! My wife and I share mini vegetable egg rolls (hot), salmon and avocado inside out sushi and the ‘special’ Naruto roll - a combination of Salmon, tuna, yellowtail wrapped in Cucumber with a House vinegar dressing. The menu is so varied with many different options and with so much to choose from I wanted to try a bit of everything but that was not possible. Firstly, drinking water quality and taste varies throughout USA but the iced tap water here was perfect. Upon sitting down we were supplied with menus and asked for a drink. The table and chairs were comfortable and everything smartly presented. The staff welcoming were courteous, polite and friendly. The ambience and decor is beautiful, clean and authentic. Staying with very good friends in Long Island we visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and WOW! What a fantastic restaurant and experience. I'd say come for dinner and order whatever sounds good to you! My sister ordered mongolian chicken and enjoyed her dish so there's that. I expected it to be saucier or more flavorful, or maybe a bit more kani but it was pretty basic. The kani salad was good but a little disappointing, given that it's Moca (I expected more). I'm not a big fan of sashimi, but I ordered the yellowtail and I wasn't a fan - but not because it tasted weird, I just don't enjoy sashimi. The eel sauce and spicy mayo helped it a lot but it would crumble in my chopsticks to be careful for that! The tuna wonton thing was actually my favorite thing in the bento box and I would go back just for that. I think I would've enjoyed it more with seaweed? but it was alright. The roll wasn't my favorite, it tasted pretty average for other sushi I've had at Moca and other places. What was nice is that it had like this knot of noodles and two shrimps in the tiny little bowl so that was nice. I ordered the lunch bento box with lemongrass soup, Moca roll, spicy tuna with wontons, kani salad, and sashimi. It sizzled and tasted heavenly - my sister and I both really enjoyed that. My sister and I shared a short beef rib appetizer which was recommended to us by our server. I ordered the sake sangria which was delicious (tasted like candy almost). I recently came here for lunch and liked it, but didn't love it. The food, drinks and service was once again AMAZING! I must've eaten 20 fried oreos at that party. Great service, great drinks, and great food!! I've also been for a baby shower which was literally the craziest, nicest shower I've attended. I came here for dinner over the summer with a large party, and everything was absolutely amazing.
